EU RMR team list set as Preasy, 3DMAX clinch final slots

21 teams have tickets booked to the EU RMRs for PGL Major Copenhagen via the online qualifiers.

dupreeh was among those to benefit from the Decider Qualifier

3DMAX have grabbed the 21st and final spot on offer to end the two-week online qualifying process for the European RMRs.

The Decider Qualifier, battled out between teams with a 2-3 record in the closed qualifiers, had five spots on offer for its six teams and it was the Estonians of sYnck who missed out after losing three successive matches where a win would have sent them to Bucharest.

Preasy, PERA, ECSTATIC, and Nexus were the four other teams to join 3DMAX as the benefactors of the Decider Qualifier to complete the RMR list.

Preasy's qualification gives Peter "⁠dupreeh⁠" Rasmussen a chance to continue his streak of Major appearances that runs back to the very first CS:GO Major at DreamHack Winter 2013.

ECSTATIC qualified at the first time of asking over PERA, bringing the count of Danish-majority rosters left in the pursuit for a home Major to four in addition to HEROIC and Astralis.

The four Danish teams are joined by 28 other squads, including the 11 that were invited based on their results at the Paris Major.

PGL reveals invites for Copenhagen Major RMRs

These teams will now be seeded via Valve's regional standings into two groups for the RMRs that will take place in Bucharest and offer 17 spots at the PGL Copenhagen Major.

they arent that bad of a lineup since I think gla1ve and especially dycha will be huge upgrades. If hades plays decent there is a good chance they make it through with some decent seeding luck.

It should be accurate, you can use it during the major as well, it shows you the exact next matchups, depending on who wins the previous games

Yeah well I think they still have a decent chance. But ofc OG, NiP, 9 Pandas and Apeks could do it as well. I just think they’re the most set team out of those which is why I favor them.

Heroic will find a way to fail i think. nicoodoz can only do so much to carry them. nertz hasn’t looked good so far, and he is the only star player besides nicoodoz.

Well… according to the rule book… the groups will be determined by the valve ranking . So, if the rank is not updated those will be the final groups. Does anyone know if valve is supposed to update the rankings in the next few days?

Yeah, you have to earn it, but its still just sad to see players thatve never made a major get close to success and then trip. Like, look at B8. In the Rio RMR, they had a 2-1 record and then lost the next 2 qualification matches. Then in the Paris RMR, they had a 2-0 record then lost the next 3 qualification matches. Its sad to see young teams fall at the final hurdle.
