BetBoom bench innersh1ne after RMR failure

The Russian coach departs BetBoom on the day following their exit from the PGL Major Copenhagen Last Chance Qualifier.

Viacheslav "⁠innersh1ne⁠" Britvin has announced that he has been benched from BetBoom in the aftermath of the team's failure to qualify for PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen.

The Russian side went 2-3 in the first European RMR group last week, failing to convert two chances to qualify in losses to Natus Vincere and Eternal Fire, and were eliminated in the Last Chance qualifier following a loss to Guild Eagles on Friday.

The Major qualifier disappointment came as yet another blow to a stagnating BetBoom side, who had also exited the IEM Katowice Play-in stage in last place earlier in February.

innersh1ne only lasted five months with the Vladislav "⁠nafany⁠" Gorshkov-led roster, having joined the team in October from Aurora. The 30-year-old is now on the lookout for a new team as a coach but is also open to considering a "GM or any esports-related positions."

The Russian also said he would share more details about his time at BetBoom at a later time. Meanwhile, nafany has commented that things "didn't work out for us like we expected" and urged any team looking for a hard-working person to hire his former coach.

They played quals without coach but in Sydney innershine was there with them. I lowkey think BB had more tactical depth playing closed qualifiers without him. Since Sydney they were always playing fast paced cs, where their starts were either rush A or rush B on t, no slow rounds, noone plays lurk, bad map control, no teamplay or trade plays on ct side if they want to clear some area of the map, just solo plays all the time, their macro was utter dogshit, watching them playin nuke on ct side is painful, 0 improvement whatsover. They are russian BNE - all aim no brain. People used to talk the same about EF, but EF in comparison to BNE look like Faze or Astralis with fat stratbook.

Who's going to replace him in Russian speaking teams? If seized manage to resurface after many years then nafany will be fine too. He might stay in tier 2-3 for longer than he'd like but he will have more chances.
