M80's lengthy period without an in-game leader may be drawing to a close.

s1n may be returning to action in a new region

North American organization M80 have their sights set on acquiring German rifler Elias "⁠s1n⁠" Stein from the bench of BIG, according to a report by Dust2.us. The 22-year-old is reportedly set to fill the shot-calling role, one that has been left vacant since the benching of Marcus "⁠maNkz⁠" Kjeldsen in late January.

Over the course of the past two months, M80 have been making use of coach and former Complexity player Rory "⁠dephh⁠" Jackson as the team's in-game leader across their various outings. Since maNkz's move to inactivity, M80 missed out on the IEM Katowice main stage after losses to GamerLegion and Rebels and fell just short of qualifying for PGL Major Copenhagen after facing defeat at the hands of Legacy.

s1n has been out of action since the IEM Katowice Play-in, having been benched by BIG to make way for the additions of Florian "⁠syrsoN⁠" Rische and Jon "⁠JDC⁠" de Castro from 00NATION.

Should s1n's move to M80 come to fruition, it would not serve as his first experience as an in-game leader, with the young German having previously called for BIG Academy while also acting as a secondary caller alongside Johannes "⁠tabseN⁠" Wodarz after his promotion to the main team.

With M80's recent withdrawal from IEM Chengdu, the North American side is not set to return to action until the start of ESL Pro League Season 19, set to run from April 23-May 12, barring their commitments in ESL Challenger League Season 47. The team is slated to participate in Group B, headlined by Vitality and G2.

let's say that I like making roster predictions you may believe me or not, but this morning I heard some rumors about sNx in OG. I was thinking who could join Rebels in his place, and yeah I chose innocent and made him IGL in this roster (in my doc). After few hours there was a tweet from innocent about him joining Rebels as IGL. I was like "ok nice predict", but now it is s1n joining M80, like wtf. I feel like I have some strange power.

Good pickup, young igl prospects dont appear every day out of nowhere and I think s1n looked pretty promising in the big academy. Also I dont imagine he was an expensive pickup so nice minmaxing from m80 imo.
