MIBR, Party Astronauts qualify for ESL Challenger Jönköping
The final spot at the Swedish event will go to the winner of the Europe closed qualifier.

MIBR and Party Astronauts have punched tickets to ESL Challenger Jönköping following victories over Fluxo and Nouns, respectively, in their regional closed qualifiers.
MIBR began the year as the second-highest-ranked South American team, but plunged down their region's standings after a disastrous showing at the Americas RMR that resulted in them missing PGL Major Copenhagen.

paiN, Legacy, and Imperial overtook Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima's troops in the rankings after surprising during the Major, and MIBR have spent their time at home trying to recover from the blow. They came into the Jönköping closed qualifier on a six-map winstreak and made good on that momentum, beating Sharks and Fluxo to advance to the grand final of the four-team bracket.
A rematch against Fluxo in the qualifying match ended with the same result, although this time Vinicios "PKL" Coelho's men put up much more of a fight. The teams traded wins on each other's map picks, with MIBR only narrowly stealing Fluxo's Nuke 13-11, but MIBR completely ran away with the Ancient decider to close out the series.
Party Astronauts, meanwhile, completed a run through the lower bracket of the North America closed qualifier after losing their opening match to Nouns.
Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney substituted for Adam "WolfY" Andersson shortly after that match due to illness, and with the former EG Black member in tow, Party Astronauts fought past Take Flyte and BOSS to set up a rematch against Nouns in the grand final.
The trio of CLASIA, Danny "Cxzi" Strzelczyk, and Connor "chop" Sullivan stepped up to claim revenge for their side, with the latter pair leading the charge on Overpass and Inferno, respectively, to earn Party Astronauts a spot in Jönköping.
The qualification is the second international LAN appearance the organization-less team has secured in as many months, having previously defeated NRG to secure a spot at ESL Challenger Melbourne.

The final spot at ESL Challenger Jönköping will go to the winner of the Europe closed qualifier, which will conclude on Thursday. The team list for the Swedish LAN currently looks as follows:
