Sharks bring back gafolo after Pro League run

The Brazilian AWPer returns to the team after a spell on the sidelines because of health reasons.

After almost two months out, gafolo is back in the starting lineup

Sharks have brought Victor "⁠gafolo⁠" Andrade back into the starting lineup, the Portuguese organization has announced. The decision comes just days after the team returned from ESL Pro League Season 19.

gafolo will reclaim his old spot on the team, which was briefly taken by Mateus "⁠supLexN1⁠" Miranda while he recovered from health issues. supLexN1, who had previously played for Sharks in 2020, averaged a 0.97 rating during his six-week stint with the team.

Sharks finished bottom of Group B in Malta following defeats to Vitality, M80 and TYLOO, winning just one map across the three series. Danilo "⁠doc⁠" Barros and Daniel "⁠rdnzao⁠" Monteiro were the only players who left Malta with above-average numbers, with supLexN1 posting a 0.84 tournament rating.

"We're here to announce that our player supLexN1 will go to the bench," Sharks wrote on X. "Sharks are now waiting for offers for the player.

"We really appreciate his efforts during his time with us."

supLexN1 will join Vinicius "⁠n1ssim⁠" Pereira on Sharks' bench. Negotiations between paiN and Sharks over a permanent deal over n1ssim seem to have broken down, with the Brazilian organization understood to be close to signing snow, who was reportedly also courted by Wildcard.

Are they really going to leave n1ssim, in one of the best individual phases of his career, on the bench? put him in, don't let him lose pace. if there were going to be interesting offers to buy him, there would have been by now. And GL Gafolo.

the likely scenario is N1ssim/Sharks are negotiating with other teams (PaiN is dead) and if that doesnt work prob benched until the end of the year (his contract runs out). I wouldn´t put a player that doesn´t want to be there, way too developed and has contract running out in the team. Ruins the morale, no adiotional value in development of a player and you still lose the player regardless. In the end PaiN messed up with his contract and now his carreer is going to take another step back which is a shame.

You don't know what you're talking about. It's much better for his career and for Sharks that he plays, because if he stayd on the bench for too long without pace he'll lose his value, nobody wants to buy for a X value a player who's going to sit on the bench for I don't know how long without pace against pro players, the same thing will happen as with Ablej. If any interesting org was going to buy N1ssim it would have already bought him, Red Canids went after coldzera, paiN after snowzin, MIBR is doing well, Imperial is in a closed project
