SaMey signs with Sangal after stand-in spell
The Turkish organization has secured the former Anonymo player on a permanent deal.
Sangal have completed the signing of Dawid "SaMey" Stańczak, the Turkish organization has revealed, finally rounding out their roster following the departures of Pere "sausol" Solsona Saumell and Ilya "Ganginho" Chernychenko in March.
SaMey, who is mostly known for his time with HONORIS and Anonymo, joins Sangal after a monthlong stand-in spell. He averaged a 1.06 rating during that period, competing in tournaments like the ESL Challenger League and CCT Europe under the organization's banner.
"I am absolutely grateful to be part of this team," SaMey said in a statement. "I'm really excited about this opportunity. I believe we will succeed."
SaMey follows in the footsteps of Samet "jottAAA" Köklü, who was signed from Eternal Fire in March after playing for their academy team. The overhaul of the squad began in February with the arrival of former fnatic head coach Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson, who took over from Klesti "stikle-" Kola.

Currently ranked 48th in the world, Sangal have locked in a spot in the Medium Seed Group's Consolidation final of ESL Challenger after surviving elimination matches against B8, TSM and brazylijski luz. Next up, they will face the loser of the match between FORZE and Monte.
