BetBoom invited to BetBoom Dacha Belgrade

BetBoom will replace Cloud9 in Belgrade

Tournament operator FISSURE has announced that BetBoom have accepted an invitation to compete at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade. The Russian team will fill the void created by Cloud9, who withdrew from the tournament amid a roster overhaul that has left the squad with only two active players.

In a statement, FISSURE explained that the closed qualifier's losing finalists, AMKAL, and several teams inside the top 10 and top 15 were approached before it extended an invitation to BetBoom, who were third in the qualifier.

"They had to decline the invitation due to scheduling complications," FISSURE said, adding that BetBoom "were in Belgrade and were ready to urgently rearrange its own schedule."

BetBoom will take Cloud9's spot in Group A, which also includes MOUZ, Virtus.pro and Falcons. They will take on Kamil "⁠siuhy⁠" Szkaradek's troops in the event's opening match on May 14.

BetBoom recently attended ESL Pro League Season 19 in Malta, where they made it out of Group B before losing to FlyQuest in the first round of the playoffs.

BetBoom Dacha Belgrade will take place between May 14-19 and feature a $500,000 prize pool. With BetBoom's addition, the groups will look as follows:
