Juve re-joins Into the Breach as coach

Into the Breach have announced the penultimate signings of their roster rebuild, bringing back coach Gustavo "⁠Juve⁠" Alexandre and adding Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend as an assistant coach and analyst.

"One final piece left - star rifler," the organization stated in its announcement.

The Portuguese coach returns to the British organization for the fourth time in two-and-a-half years, having served as their on-and-off again coach for multiple stints since 2021.

Juve, now 21 years old, became the youngest coach to qualify for a Valve-sponsored Major when he stood behind Into the Breach at the BLAST.tv Paris Major.

That iteration of the team made a Cinderella run to the quarter-finals before defeat at the hands of Vitality, a result well beyond anything the lineup showed prior and at a level they failed to replicate at any point after as repeated lineup changes left the organization fumbling to put a long-term project together.

Juve took a personal leave of absence shortly after the Paris Major run, but returned near the end of 2023 as the team's core reunited to fight for a spot at PGL Major Copenhagen.

He announced he was open to offers after Into the Breach failed to advance from the Europe RMR, and recently served as the head coach of Secret for a two-month stint before the organization released the team.

kRYSTAL was the assistant coach of Guild Eagles alongside Jonatan "⁠Devilwalk⁠" Lundberg and worked with the Kosovar team since early 2023, notably qualifying for the Legends Stage of the Paris Major through the RMR.

He follows Dionis "⁠sinnopsyy⁠" Budeci and Flatron "⁠juanflatroo⁠" Halimi over to Into the Breach after the team disbanded following their release from the organization.

if this team had jks as anchor instead of Keoz and rigon as star rifler would've been a tier2 team but with Keoz? doubt so, anyway gl! :]

Keoz was a weird choice imo - very out of the blue. He didn't even do that good during his time on Gamer Legion. He was drinking bubble tea in Dubai with his girlfriend when he got a call from management that they made it to the BLAST TV Paris Major.
