f0rest on his career prospects: "It looks difficult"
The 36-year-old suggested that he will decide on his future soon.

Swedish legend Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg has said that he is not optimistic about his chances of competing again in Counter-Strike, adding that he lacks the energy to build a team from scratch and work his way back up.
f0rest has been on the lookout for a new home since May 2022, when Dignitas made their entire roster available for transfer before eventually releasing all players and withdrawing from Counter-Strike.
In an interview with Duncan "Thorin" Shields later that year, f0rest expressed his wish to push the age barrier in Counter-Strike and said he was sure that he would "shock" people if he was given the chance to play for an elite-level team. "I'm not done," he said, admitting, however, that he understood why teams might be skeptical of him because of his age.
Since leaving Dignitas, f0rest has featured in some showmatches and made a handful of stand-in appearances, notably playing for fnatic at IEM Dallas 2023 instead of Freddy "KRIMZ" Johansson. Earlier this year, he was registered as a substitute by Complexity for PGL Major Copenhagen.
And speaking to Dust2.se at an Apex Legends tournament in Stockholm, f0rest confessed that he might not fulfill his dream of playing at another Major.
"It looks difficult," he said when asked about his comments in previous interviews. "My ambition then was that I wanted to play a Major. Does it look like that's going to happen? Probably not. But I have to think about it and then you have to close the door completely.
"But I will make that decision when the time comes. But it's not far away."
The former fnatic, SK Gaming and NIP player also seemingly rejected the possibility of building a team with young talent, much like Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Robin "flusha" Rönnquist have done with EYEBALLERS.

Still, he opened the door to finding other ways to help the next generation of Swedish talent with all the experience he has gained in his career.
"I think it's amazing what JW, flusha and they have done with EYEBALLERS," he said. "But I don't know if I could go on the same journey again. That's kind of what we did in Dignitas.
"It's very time-consuming to work your way up from zero and then even try to create some kind of relevance around it. I don't know if I have the energy to give it another go. So it's not something I've thought about but I think it's fantastic.
"Then if I could contribute in any other way to help the next Swedish generation, that's something I'm trying to explore. And see if I can pass on some of my experience and what I've learned along the way. And help as best I can."
