Meanwhile, Virtus.pro will be squaring off against Falcons, who recovered from a rough start to their day with a loss to 9z at BetBoom Dacha Season 2 with a 2-1 victory over Complexity in the Fall Showdown.

FaZe encountered little difficulty to start versus paiN, strolling through their opponent's pick of Anubis with a 13-5 scoreline. Their own map pick of Inferno proved to be far more difficult of an affair, as paiN's men emerged the victors in overtime, despite a whopping 31 kills from Robin "ropz" Kool.
The tough loss on Inferno did little to mar FaZe's confidence however, as the international side quickly rebounded on their decider of Mirage, bagging another 13-5 scoreline to send paiN packing from the Fall Showdown.
Virtus.pro's brawl with BIG served as the final match of the day, one that ended up being far closer than the match that preceded it. Dzhami "Jame" Ali's men made a game of BIG's pick of Ancient, crawling back from a 6-11 deficit to force overtime, only to fall at the final hurdle as the Germans locked it down 19-16 in double OT.
Virtus.pro rebounded on their pick of Mirage, taking it 13-7 in a straightforward affair. Dust2 seemed like it would be going the way of BIG early on, as Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz and co. accrued an 8-1 lead on their CT-side. Unfortunately for BIG, the German side seemed to be a shell of themselves on the offense, garnering just two rounds as Virtus.pro roared ahead to take the map 13-10.
