FaZe and Falcons cruise to BLAST Fall Final
The eight teams set to face off in the Royal Arena in September have been decided.

The BLAST Premier Fall Showdown has concluded, with FaZe and Falcons bagging the two remaining spots in the Fall Final over their respective opponents of OG and Virtus.pro.
The team list for the competition taking place in Copenhagen from September 25-29 is now complete, and it looks as follows:
FaZe have faced a number of shortcomings in recent months, failing to score many deep runs while also falling to sides like SAW and Ninjas in Pyjamas. Although the international side dropped a map to paiN earlier in the Showdown, FaZe recovered with a series win versus the Brazilians and carried that momentum into a straightforward victory over OG to move to the Fall Final.

Likewise, Falcons are also a side that has struggled to attain notable results in recent memory, with a runner-up finish at ESL Challenger Jönköping being their most impressive showing in the last few months.
After bagging an opening win over M80, Falcons had to contend with two of the highest-ranked sides in attendance, Complexity and Virtus.pro, but Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer's men came out on top to secure Danny "zonic" Sørensen a place in the Royal Arena for the first time since 2019.

FaZe's face-off versus OG kicked off the final day of play in the Showdown, with FaZe setting the pace early with a dominant 9-3 half on their opponent's pick of Dust2. OG pieced together some rounds after having a chance on the offense, but it was only a matter of time before FaZe stole away the map 13-8.
OG were far more competitive to start on Ancient, managing to stay toe-to-toe with Finn "karrigan" Andersen's men to secure a 6-6 halftime scoreline. Unfortunately for OG, their T-side was not nearly as fruitful, garnering only two rounds before FaZe sent them packing from the Showdown with another 13-8 win
Falcons's series against Virtus.pro proved to be a similarly one-sided affair, as the international side hit the ground running on their pick of Vertigo, snagging ten rounds to Virtus.pro's meager two.
Dzhami "Jame" Ali and co. were not dissuaded even despite the dreary first half, eventually crawling to double-digits right after Falcons claimed match point. In the end, a 1v4 clutch from Álvaro "SunPayus" García would put the nail in the coffin on Vertigo, locking it down for Falcons 13-10.
Virtus.pro's pick of Mirage saw Falcons secure another blowout half, going 9-3 on the CT-side. This time around, Virtus.pro were unable to make the map competitive in the second half, faltering 6-13 after briefly extending their lifespan with a pistol win.
