Wildcard, Nouns advance to Americas RMR
BOSS and NRG drop to the 2-1 pool with just one remaining chance to qualify.

Wildcard and Nouns have locked in spots at the Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR after going 3-0 through the NA closed qualifier's Swiss stage.
The teams claimed victory over BOSS and NRG, respectively, in the first advancement matches, leaving just two spots up for grabs to teams who go through with a 3-1 record. A fourth-place decider will be played between the two 3-1 teams with the lowest Bucholz score for the final spot.
The result leaves NRG in a particualrly precarious position with a match against Legacy OCE likely in the cards, as long as the Brazilian team is not eliminated by Take Flyte. Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato's side was upset by BOSS in the second round of play and ended up in the elimination pool early, with BOSS going on to face Wildcard for a spot at the RMR.
Matthew "Cryptic" Whitmore's side couldn't make it through on their first try, however, with Wildcard looking fearsome since adding Swedish duo Love "phzy" Smidebrant and Tim "susp" Ångström. The team eased past Mythic and E-Xolos LAZER in the best-of-one rounds before beating BOSS 2-0 in the advancement match, needing all 24 rounds on Nuke before running away with Dust2 after a slow start.

Nouns didn't have an easy run to their RMR spot, going from beating FLUFFY AIMERS 13-6 to nearly losing to a comeback to Party Astronauts, eventually closing the game 16-13.
They got off to a strong start on NRG's pick of Anubis, going up 7-3 on the T side, but lost the edge near the end of the first half and were run over once on the defense, 10-13. Nouns wasted little time in recovering from that, however, crushing NRG 13-6 on Ancient before a 1.80-rated performance from Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott on the Mirage decider helped his team take things over the line.
