Americas, Asia RMR Fantasy games set to go live

The Americas RMR will have season points in play, while only skins are up for grabs in the Asia RMR.

Format

- Swiss format with 7th place decider

- Opening, 1-0, 0-1, and 1-1 matches are BO1; the rest are BO3.

Things to note


- Teams advancing from 3-0 and 3-1 scores will have a greater advantage due to the padding awarded for the 7th place decider. Likewise, eliminated early players will be at a disadvantage due to more elimination points.

Player prices

- Due to FURIA’s and Complexity’s deflated rating from highly competitive international play, their prices were manually increased. With most other teams, the reverse was done to adjust for the format and the competition level.

- Double-elimination bracket for three spots.

- Opening matches are BO1, all other matches are BO3.

Things to note


- Teams advancing via the upper bracket will get two rounds worth of padding. Considering it takes only a BO1 and BO3 to do so, it introduces a higher chance of upsets.

- Since The MongolZ are clear favorites at the event, their prices were slightly adjusted to reflect that.
