Virtus.pro have made the first addition of their rebuild.

FL4MUS put in some eye-catching displays during the Perfect World Shanghai Major cycle

Virtus.pro have announced the signing of Timur "⁠FL4MUS⁠" Marev, filling one of the roster spots left vacant by the recent benching of Dzhami "⁠Jame⁠" Ali and David "⁠n0rb3r7⁠" Danielyan. This move confirms a recent report by HLTV.

"FL4MUS' aggressive play style, his ability to make quick decisions, and out-of-the-box thinking will help the team succeed in the new CS2 era," Virtus.pro's CEO said of the signing.

20-year-old FL4MUS drew attention over the course of the first half of 2024 playing for Nemiga, averaging a 1.18 rating as the squad qualified for IEM Chengdu and won back-to-back RES Regional Series events online.

His performances earned him a move to GamerLegion in May, as part of their rebuild following the departure of Isak "⁠isak⁠" Fahlén to Ninjas in Pyjamas and the benching of Frederik "⁠acoR⁠" Gyldstrand and Nicolas "⁠Keoz⁠" Dgus.

FL4MUS impressed during his stint on GamerLegion with his aggressive and impactful style of rifling, not least during their qualification campaign for Perfect World Shanghai Major. The Russian was by far his team's highest-rated player as they fought back from an 0-2 start at the RMR, leading the scoreboard in three of the four series they won to complete the memorable comeback story.

FL4MUS is set to make his debut at online event BLAST Bounty Season 1, set to kick off January 13.
