The European organization is up to full strength once again.

spooke will play for OG in 2025

OG have announced the signing of Olle "⁠spooke⁠" Grundström, who will take the place of Bram "⁠Nexius⁠" Campana after the Belgian rifler was benched in October.

spooke joins OG from orgless Swedish combine Johnny Speeds. The 23-year-old represented the squad for the entirety of 2024 and averaged a team-high 1.16 rating across his tenure, helping the team secure a plethora of online and local LAN titles.

The squad went their separate ways at the end of 2024, which allowed spooke to trial for OG, according to Johnny Speeds' AWPer William "⁠draken⁠" Sundin, who revealed the news in an interview.

Slovakian rifler Jakub "⁠M1key⁠" Krausko was also one of the options to replace Nexius after standing in for the squad, but it seems like OG have decided to go a different path.

OG currently have no events scheduled due to being ranked No. 73 in Valve's Global standings and will need to find results quickly in order to secure some invites to top-tier tournaments.

I guess this means the end of JohnnySpeeds which I loved watching tbh, some of the most entertaining non T1 team out there. JohnnySpeeds probably would have beaten OG though when they were in peak form, seemed like sweden's best CS team at one point even slight favorite over metizsport (although those two have been a bit up/down who is better over the other). This OG screams mid though, shame they continue on that path to be CCT mechants.
