GamerLegion bet on youth once again with the addition of a 17-year-old academy graduate.

GamerLegion have announced the addition of former MOUZ NXT academy graduate Oldřich "⁠PR⁠" Nový to their Counter-Strike roster.

The 17-year-old Czech fills the vacant spot left after Timur "⁠FL4MUS⁠" Marev was transferred to Virtus.pro earlier in the winter off-season as a replacement for David "⁠n0rb3r7⁠" Danielyan.

In a statement, GamerLegion's coach, Ashley "⁠ash⁠" Battye, shared that he has admired PR for "a long time." He praised the youngster's consistency in his year-and-a-half long stint with MOUZ NXT, during which he averaged a 1.13 rating across various lower-tier competitions.

"PR is a young and highly talented player who has shown a consistent level in an always impressive MOUZ NXT team," ash said.

"He is a player who I personally have admired for a long time, and we are very excited to see his development within the team. He comes highly recommended and has a real hunger to prove himself in a like-minded lineup."

PR's debut in the new colors will take place in BLAST Bounty Season 1, which will kick off online on January 14.

Indeed! Ash - great at scouting sAw - great at creating and implementing. Feels like all the rest except 1 are only "maintainers" - can't build/create or develop, just living on past achievements based on a great team with a great leader. Nah bro, blade didn't scout anything. Not trying to hate on him or anything, because he is successful coach, but his aTORW% is lower than TaZ... If you'll look at his rosters, only the current one was made out of unproven players (welp, technically, cuz we have b1t, Aleksi and wonderfool), whilst 2023 roster(s) didn't work. Blade is highly overrated.

You need to calculate it. There was one calculation posted from summer-autumn season (EWC-Rio-Blast Fall/World) by statsmeister iirc. aTORW% = after timeout rounds won percentage I'll link it if I'll find it, or you can just scroll on his Twitter.

Ahh, but this stat apparently might be inaccurate when comparing TaZ to Blade, because allegedly Taz doesn't say shit on T-side timeouts, as it's Snax who is managing that. There's also this situation, when malbs was malding and angry, and people blamed Taz for not taking timeout, whilst it was Snax who was responsible for that.

was gonna say this after your reply, its not a very useful stat because we don't actually know what was said in the timeout, it could be that the timeout is taken simply for the team to take a breather if the enemy has a lot of momentum and not much is said in it, which still can contribute to winning but its not a straightforward or quantifiable relation to winning

Hmmm seems like PR came out from nxt’s latest roster as most fortunate? Sirah joined tsm and now the entire roster is benched.Nexius, chr1zn,neityu didn’t get best results in their respective teams and burmylov is still benched by nxt.We shall wait to see if atleast one player from their former roster succeeds.
