PGL reveals Cluj-Napoca on-air team

A 15-man strong team will guide viewers through the action during the Romanian event.

PGL has announced the on-air talent lineup for its upcoming tournament in Cluj-Napoca. Fifteen well-known faces will provide commentary, analysis and interviews for the English-language broadcast team throughout the $1.25 million event, which will run between February 14 and 23.

Without surprise, many of the faces who were part of the talent roster for the Shanghai Major (whose English-language broadcast was produced by PGL) will be working at this event.

Richard "⁠Richard Lewis⁠" Lewis will be in charge of desk hosting duties alongside Tres "⁠stunna⁠" Saranthus, while Dustin "⁠dusT⁠" Mouret is part of a four-man analyst crew that also includes Alex "⁠Mauisnake⁠" Ellenberg, Sudhen "⁠Bleh⁠" Wahengbam and Jacob "⁠Pimp⁠" Winneche, with Sam "⁠Tech Girl⁠" Wright and Janko "⁠YNk⁠" Paunović two notable omissions after working at the Major.

PGL Cluj-Napoca teams announced

There will be four casting pairs, two of which will be working remotely. Alex "⁠Machine⁠" Richardson, Chad "⁠SPUNJ⁠" Burchill, Conner "⁠Scrawny⁠" Girvan, and Mohan "⁠launders⁠" Govindasamy will be the on-site casters, while Harry "⁠JustHarry⁠" Russell and Hugo "⁠Hugo⁠" Byron, and Jason "⁠moses⁠" O'Toole and Adam "⁠Dinko⁠" Hawthorne will be pairing up as remote casters.

PGL Cluj-Napoca will begin with a 16-team Swiss stage, taking place in the Romanian company's studio in Bucharest. The BTarena will then open its doors to the public for the single-elimination playoffs, culminating in a best-of-five final.
