Imperial qualify for BLAST Open Lisbon

The Brazilian side are in good form since adding chayJESUS to the roster, and now have a chance at a top-tier LAN.

VINI was his team's top-rated player during the qualifier

Imperial have won ACE South American Masters Spring, a result which qualifies them for BLAST Open Lisbon 2025, set to run March 19-30.

The Brazilian side have been in good form to start 2025 after signing Richard "⁠chayJESUS⁠" Seidy in the off-season, winning 12 of the 13 matches they have played amidst a run to second in CCT Season 2 South America Series 6 and success in various qualifiers.

In this instance, Imperial's impressive qualifier campaign included victories over Fluxo, paiN and MIBR, the latter two of which are both ranked in and amongst the top 15 and were the two highest-ranked sides in the competition.

It was a fairly comfortable qualifier for Imperial, as only MIBR managed to take a map off Vinicius "⁠VINI⁠" Figueiredo and his troops. The 25-year-old IGL led by example by being the highest-rated Imperial player in the event (1.32 in seven maps), whilst new signing chayJESUS (1.29) was not far behind.

Imperial will join a plethora of top teams when they take to LAN play for BLAST Open Lisbon, with 13 of the top 14 sides in HLTV's rankings set to attend. It will also serve as Imperial's first international outing since the addition of chayJESUS.
