The new-look MOUZ and FaZe sides will be duking it out for a shot at their first arena outing of 2025.

The third round of matchups for PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 have been drawn, setting up the first promotion and elimination matches of the event's Swiss group stage.

Headlining the 2-0 matches is a series between FaZe and MOUZ, both sides featuring a new look from 2024 that have not yet reached an arena this year. The other 2-0 series will see The MongolZ take on Brazilian underdogs paiN, who bested Astralis and Falcons to set up the meeting.

While FaZe and MOUZ will be vying for their first arena outings of the year, Complexity and Imperial Valkyries will be competing for their first map wins at a tier-one event in 2025 in the 0-2 pool. The other elimination match will see a SAW lineup bound for changes take on FlyQuest in the hopes of sending Iulian "⁠regali⁠" Harjău packing on home soil.

The most notable 1-1 series features Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş taking on former teammate Johannes "⁠tabseN⁠" Wodarz in Eternal Fire's clash with BIG, while Falcons and Astralis meet after each enduring losses to paiN earlier in the event.
