BESTIA add leo_drk

BESTIA have found their first new player after recently dropping two from the starting roster.

BESTIA have announced the addition of Leonardo "⁠leo_drk⁠" Oliveira, bringing their roster back up to four members after the recent departure of Fillipe "⁠pancc⁠" Martins and benching of Nazareno "⁠naz⁠" Romero.

leo_drk arrives having featured for Swingers at the start of 2025, with whom he faced off against BESTIA several times this year, most-recently taking a 2-0 win to eliminate them from CCT South America Series 7.

The Brazilian joins a BESTIA side who enjoyed two RMR appearances last year, at the Americas RMRs for PGL Major Copenhagen and Perfect World Shanghai Major.

The Argentinians came particularly close to qualification for Perfect World Shanghai Major, exiting the event with a 2-3 record after a hotly-contested match with M80, in which they lost the deciding map in double OT.

Tomas "⁠tomaszin⁠" Corna in particular turned heads during their Perfect World Shanghai Major Americas RMR campaign, posting a 1.37 rating that put him second in the entire event, ahead of the likes of Jonathan "⁠EliGE⁠" Jablonowski and Roland "⁠ultimate⁠" Tomkowiak.

Beyond their RMR appearances BESTIA have struggled for consistent form, and chopped and changed their lineup multiple times over the last year in the search for consistency.

naz was brought in after their first RMR failure, Ignacio "⁠meyern⁠" Meyer made way for Mauro "⁠zock⁠" Da Silva mid-way through 2024 amidst a patch of poor form, and zock found himself benched after their second RMR failure.

After an underwhelming start to 2025, where they have endured several tournament-ending losses to lesser-ranked sides, BESTIA have opted for two changes, with leo_drk serving as their first replacement.
