fnatic have announced the signing of Dmytro "⁠jambo⁠" Semera from Passion UA, replacing Denys "⁠Burmylov⁠" Buraga in their active roster.

The newest addition comes as the latest in a series of musical chair moves in fnatic. They have now changed the AWPer for the third time in six months after letting go Aurélien "⁠afro⁠" Drapier in September and Tim "⁠nawwk⁠" Jonasson in January.

Burmylov only lasted two months on the team, during which he averaged a middling 1.01 rating as fnatic struggled to make headway in several CCT competitions, only making it deep once with a runner-up finish in Series 19.

His replacement, jambo, has been a hot prospect ever since he turned heads with Passion UA at the Perfect World Shanghai Major late last year. The 20-year-old rejoins his in-game leader from that team, Rodion "⁠fear⁠" Smyk, in fnatic's quest to return to former glory.

"Dmytro brings firepower, dedication, and exceptional skill to the team," a statement from fnatic Team Director Andreas "⁠Samuelsson⁠" Samuelsson reads.

"Known for his composure under pressure, versatility, and proficiency with all weapons, he adds a new dynamic to our roster. We believe he will play a key role in our vision to return to the biggest stages and once again compete for trophies."

"This means that Burmylov will be moving to the inactive roster. At just 17 years old, Denys is a highly promising talent with a bright future ahead of him. The decision was made to unite jambo with fear, creating a strong and promising duo to complement the rest of the team."

fnatic have organized a bootcamp to get acquainted with their new AWPer. That kicks off on March 24, just before the team starts its campaigns in the Galaxy Battle STARTER playoffs and the PGL Astana Europe closed qualifier, two tournaments that could well lock in their spot in the BLAST.tv Austin Major Regional Qualifiers.

Not really, its more like replacing replacing a rotten leg with a gambling machine, but close though because when you get a gambling machine there is just as much possibility for a rotten leg as there is for a golden hand & you will just never know unless you try it out, there is a reason that only gamblers win the jackpot, because it isnt really possible if you never try your hand at it!
