MOUZ's head coach missed the first two rounds of the playoffs to attend his brother's wedding, while his assistant coach, Andreas "⁠Xyp9x⁠" Højsleth, stood behind the team in 2-0 wins against G2 and Eternal Fire at the MEO Arena.

MOUZ's two victories in the playoffs have given sycrone enough time to make it back to the competition, and he has now landed in Portugal ahead of the grand final, which pitts his squad against the hottest team of the moment, Vitality, who are currently on a 15 game winning streak and have only lost one of 11 maps played at BLAST Open Lisbon.

MOUZ already faced Vitality in the group stage upper bracket final, a low-stakes match for playoff seeding, which they lost 0-2, and will be gunning to get revenge with the chance to lift a trophy on the line.

The two also faced off twice at ESL Pro League Season 21, including in the grand final, where Vitality were once again the superior team, winning all five maps played between the two teams in Stockholm.

sycrone is actually a good coach and I want Xyp to take more time developing. He won't be TaZ if he were to be a head coach. But I want him to have reputation of a GOAT coach. Those things takes time.
