Seven teams replaced at YaLLa Compass despite move to online
Aurora and Astralis were among the teams to withdraw after the tournament was moved online due to its clash with the Major Regional Qualifiers.

The organizers of YaLLa Compass Qatar have announced the updated list of teams for the tournament, which shows that seven teams have opted to withdraw and had to be replaced.
Some replacements were to be expected due to the half of the invited or qualified teams also taking part in the BLAST.tv Austin Major Regional Qualifiers, whose scheduling clash with the event ultimately caused it to be moved online and its prizepool to be reduced from $600,000 to $300,000.

Astralis and Complexity withdrew from the event after they barely missed out on a direct invite to the Major, while Aurora, 3DMAX, Virtus.pro, paiN and MIBR also opted not to take part after the move online despite no direct scheduling clash.
Out of those, Aurora are the only team who have nothing to play in the immediate future. The Turkish side, who recently transferred under the new banner from Eternal Fire, also withdrew from IEM Melbourne, which starts two days following the conclusion of YaLLa Compass.
Meanwhile, some teams who either qualified or were invited as the replacement and are also playing in the European MRQ, namely BetBoom, Nemiga, ENCE, Metizport and 9 Pandas, have decided to participate in both.
The final team list for YaLLa Compass Qatar, which will take place from April 16-19, looks as follows:
