NIP win Fragadelphia Las Vegas

NIP's win on American soil will grant them a significant boost to their VRS points.

r1nkle finished the playoffs with a 1.56 rating over 10 maps

Ninjas in Pyjamas have claimed the title at Fragadelphia Las Vegas, taking down NRG and Sharks en route to the $5,500 grand prize and, more importantly, invaluable VRS points.

The Ninjas enjoyed smooth sailing throughout the majority of their playoff run, even cruising to a 3-0 win against Sharks in the BO5 grand final, but NRG gave the European side a stiff test in the semi-finals.

After NRG and Ninjas in Pyjamas both secured wins on their own map picks, the series went to Train as a decider, where three overtimes where needed to decide a winner. Artem "r1nkle" Moroz was ultimately the difference maker, his 1.02 KPR dwarfing the rest of the server as he topped the scoreboard.

r1nkle was Ninjas in Pyjamas's star man through much of the playoffs, leading to the AWPer topping the event for rating (1.56 over 10 maps), whilst Rasmus "sjuush" Beck played second fiddle (1.34, fourth in event).

Ninjas in Pyjamas will enjoy a significant boost in their quest to climb the VRS thanks to this LAN victory, with current calculations suggesting they will leap almost 50 places in the next update, having garnered nearly 200 points for their campaign.

Ninjas in Pyjamas will be relieved that this LAN outing was a success, considering their most-recent attempt to garner VRS points at a lesser LAN ended in disaster. The European side recently attended Level Up LUND!, crashing out in the quarter-finals at the hands of TNL.

Following two LAN events with weaker fields, Ninjas in Pyjamas will soon get the chance to test themselves at a tier-one event as they are set to attend PGL Astana from May 10-18.

The final top 16 standings at Fragadelphia Las Vegas 2025 are as follows:

1. Europe Ninjas in Pyjamas

As a European, it was always hard for me to understand American culture. What was fascinating for me is that they like bragging about their freedom which was weird for me, because I didn't think that I have any less freedom than them. I always thought 'What is the difference?'. However after this tournament I finally understand it. NA is 100% free.

You can do a simple experiment to test if Americans have more freedom than you, first go to Time Square and protest Trump politics and call him a dictator then go to the Red Square and protest the invasion of Ukraine and shout that Putin is a dictator.

Yes, Discord was banned in Russia on October 8, 2024. The ban was implemented by the Russian communications regulator, Roskomnadzor, citing violations of Russian law. The stated reason for the ban was to prevent the use of Discord for terrorist and extremist activities, recruitment, and illegal information posting See you in the Gulag

No. NiP made a business decision to attend these events since they'll only get return on their team if they can get far enough in the VRS to consistently attend tier 1 events.

I think the focus here is to make everyone understand the new world order, which is that VRS controls your future. And NiP being a legendary team, makes for a good story about how the mighty has fallen, and maybe risen again. It is good to bring focus to this, as volvo still have some work to do, before this functions as intended.

its not about believing but a fact, prize money = vrs points. They seen how much bluejays went up after winning a fragadelphia event. Difference is if NIP ever get invited even to closed qualifiers for an event they will get embarrassed.

Yes but my point is that the prize money itself isn't what they went for or what they care for, it's the VRS points that comes with it. I think they'd go to this event if the prize was just the VRS points and no money.
