Spirit have qualified for the BLAST Rivals semi-finals after meeting expectations in a dominant win over Wildcard (Anubis 13-7, Dust2 13-2).
"I'm tilted because of Dust2, I was trying to throw some flashes, but my team was playing deathmatch without comms," Boris "magixx" Vorobiev jokingly said in a post-match interview.
Things are about to get much tougher for the Russian squad, though, as they will be thrown into the ring to try and stop Vitality's win streak at 23 matches on Saturday.

Wildcard picked Anubis after previously dominating paiN with a 12-0 T-side, while Spirit curiously chose to start on the defensive side. Their decision soon made sense, however, as they ran away to an 8-2 lead before the switch and closed out a comfortable 13-7 win in the end.
Spirit's choice of Dust2 followed a similar storyline. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets (23 kills, 2.61 rating) and Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov (21 kills, 2.26 rating) dominated proceedings and helped their team secure a one-sided 13-2 victory and a spot in the semi-final.
