kauez has landed on RED Canids

RED Canids have announced the signings of Kaue "⁠kauez⁠" Kaschuk from paiN and Gabriel "⁠ponter⁠" Amaral from Swingers to bring their roster back up to full strength. Meanwhile, Gustavo "⁠tge⁠" Motta has been named the team's new head coach.

The duo will replace João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos and Henrique "⁠HEN1⁠" Teles, who were benched in April after the team failed to progress to the BLAST.tv Austin Major through the South American MRQ. The Brazilian squad fell short of expectations at the event, losing to Legacy before being eliminated by BESTIA in a 0-2 loss.

kauez and ponter recently helped RED Canids traverse the online stages of Odyssey Cup and secure a spot in the LAN final. kauez, who has been signed on a loan deal from paiN, is averaging a 1.33 rating in the tournament, which will culminate in a best-of-five final against Sharks.

"The reset is over," kauez wrote on X. "My mind is in the right place and I'm eager to get back on the grind. I am really happy and hyped to play with these talented guys."

As a result of the move, Marcelo "⁠coldzera⁠" David will take up the role of the team's primary AWPer — a position he previously held in Legacy following the benching of Lucas "⁠nqz⁠" Soares, which led to the team's successful qualification for the Copenhagen Major.

tge joins the team after a period of inactivity. The 27-year-old stood behind 9z for almost two years and oversaw their breakthrough event at IEM Dallas 2024, but was relieved of his duties after the team missed out on the Shanghai Major.

A minimum Salary in Brazil is R$ 1.412,00 = 270,00 dolars so with 1.300 dollars in Brazil you can leave veeeery well in Brazil 1300 dollars = R$ 7.272,59

In Brazil 1300 dolars continue beeing a very good salary, R$ 7k to just play, traing and travel. If think thats the reason of Brazil don't reach the top again. LG/SK in 2016 had 250 dol in salary, TACO at the time doesn even had a salary for play, was like a life oportunity. Kill or die.

i can guarantee u that cold is payed very very well. Rest of the team less, but still well paid for their jobs, most tier 2 brazilian orgs pay better than EU ones.

I looked at some game year ago at Major qualifier of Cold playing... he barely has any reactions left... this guy was completely done at that time... RED Canids is a charity apparently... let go HEN1 at least and give him last chance to make it work with someone.. ofc not at this sht show
