felps' stint on the active lineup ends after just over two months.

RED Canids have moved João "⁠felps⁠" Vasconcellos and Henrique "⁠HEN1⁠" Teles to the bench after failing to advance through the South America Regional Qualifier for the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

"From the outset, the focus was on a place in the Major and we know that this was also your focus," the organization's announcement states. "We tried, but we still didn't qualify and we thank you both for your dedication and commitment."

RED Canids fell woefully flat in their qualifier campaign, failing to tally a map win with a one-sided loss to Legacy and a 13-10, 13-9 elimination at the hands of BESTIA.

The changes are the eighth and ninth roster moves made by the organization in the past year alone.

The Brazilian outfit benched David "⁠dav1deuS⁠" Tapia Maldonado and Gabriel "⁠nython⁠" Lino in November after the team failed to qualify for the Perfect World Shanghai Major, enlisting felps and Marcelo "⁠nyezin⁠" Ramos as replacements in the new year.

The latter's tenure barely lasted a month, however, when the team got the opportunity to add André "⁠drop⁠" Abreu from MIBR. Now, felps' stint has also been cut short alongside HEN1, who moves to the bench after eight months on the lineup.

The veteran pair averaged 1.12 and 1.09 ratings, respectively, during their tenures, but the team found little success domestically and repeatedly fell short to rivals like Imperial, Sharks, and Legacy in various qualifiers.

what do you mean stealing paychecks. It's coldzera - he grinded CS for over a decade and paved the way for a whole generation of other Brazilians to believe. He deserves every cent of any paycheck he earns, and more. i dont think you guys understand how BR CS scene works, its not about who's got the best stats, its all about whos more famous, and who brings in the money.. why do you guys think that as soon as a player gets benched in FURIA theres 100 BR orgs offering $500k for them even tho they havent proven to be a "good" player in FURIA? they played in FURIA = he brings money, people wanna see how he plays in a non-Tier 1 scene. if the players that brings in the money, Coldzera in this example, wants something.. he will get it thats all that matters in there
