Falcons have landed the hottest young prospect in CS.

Falcons have announced the signing of Maxim "⁠kyousuke⁠" Lukin from Spirit, with the 17-year-old set to replace the recently benched Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif.

kyousuke arrives in Falcons having emerged as one of the best young prospects in the scene, making a name for himself with Spirit Academy across the last 12 months.

The young rifler averaged an impressive 1.29 rating during his time with Spirit Academy in the upper echelons of tier-two, helping guide the youth roster as high as 32nd in HLTV's rankings and 28th in the VRS, whilst earning a number of notable CCT tournament wins and LAN victories at BetBoom LanDaLan 1 and 2.

kyousuke's form not only earned him a reputation within the community, but also amongst fellow pro players, with six of HLTV's Top 20 Players of 2024 selecting him as their "Bold Prediction," including Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut and Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov.

In a recent interview with HLTV during PGL Bucharest Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač spoke highly of kyousuke, saying he has a "great future ahead of him" whilst comparing the youngsters playstyle to his own.

It's one of those... Given the sheer firepower that Kyousuke brings to the team, the teething issues of role definition and piecing together where the players clash is seen to be a minor overall issue than a serious one. I personally believe that Kyousuke will be a good fit for Falcons but I still don't believe the process to be as flawless as believed to be, though.

I am really amazed how falcons' management believe that kyousuke will be their redeemer. This guy for sure is one of the most perspective player on the scene right now but honestly he has no experiance in playing for tier 1 level, no apperance on big LANs etc. Falcons remind me PSG with Messi, Neymar and Mbappe. We all know how they ended up. Money do not guarantee that you build good team. things like, teamplay, atmosphere in the team, player matching, experiance cannot be bought . I am really wonder how falcons will look like in the next season. I cannot wait for another zonic's bulshit about missing firepower etc.

Jokes aside I bet this is the beginning of the end for Niko, he hasn’t looked himself on Falcons, for a long time on G2 as well he was underwhelming, with just bursts here and there of playing well, I feel like. You don’t need 2 star riflers on the same roster, Falcons will likely continue to underperform and either at the end of the year or at the end of the first season next year, mark my words Niko will be gone.
