chayJESUS sent to Imperial's bench: "I leave with a feeling of individual dissatisfaction"

Reports indicate a return to Imperial for chelo as chay's replacement.

Imperial have confirmed the benching of Richard "⁠chayJESUS⁠" Seidy, 20 days after a disappointing 1-3 record in Stage 1 of the Austin Major.

chayJESUS only joined in January, but exits after posting a 0.99 rating during his time with the team.

"During this time with the team," chayJESUS began on X, "I know that my performance was far below expectations. I searched hard for solutions and I leave with a feeling of individual dissatisfaction.

"Anyone who follows our day-to-day work knows how much I dedicated myself and sacrificed my game for the good of the team, but unfortunately the results didn't come in the way we all hoped."

Media: chelo close to Imperial return

chayJESUS is expected to be replaced by fellow spacetaker Marcelo "⁠chelo⁠" Cespedes, who has sat on FURIA's bench since April.

That news, reported by Dust2.com.br, would see chelo returning to the organization that housed him from August 2022 to July 2023.

yeah, they were like 6th or 7th best team in SA and got 3rd best result at major, that they didn't even qualify for. SA scene will be shook by this result, many teams will be disappointed and want changes, while Legacy proved their worth and they will be wanted.

I'm not gonna lie, I was so surprised how the general level of english in the brazilian playerbase has just gone from absolutely 0, to them actually doing more than well enough in interviews. I don't know if EU orgs would be willing to try out brazilians though. Your scene is famously riddled with bs contracts and high buyout prices. If that was to change, I can see Brazil as a region slowly dying though, since every good talent would go to EU teams, but right now I doubt we're gonna see that. Dumau, latto & insani would be worth for EU teams though. Insane amounts of firepower

oh yeah, the buyouts are a huge problem. I assumed the buyouts in Legacy weren't as bad as other teams' because it's a smaller team, but now that I think about it, dumau and latto were already considered promising guys years ago, so the fact that no one picked them up yet is probably buyouts.

Dumau & latto were more than promising in 00Nation, it's over 2 years later and they're still not in SA tier 1 team. Altho legacy have to be considered SA t1 now.
