TNL qualify for ESL Pro League Season 22

The Ukrainian side continued their recent excellent run of form by grabbing a tier-one tournament berth.

TNL will get to test their mettle against a raft of top-quality opposition at ESL Pro League

TNL have qualified for Stage 1 of ESL Pro League S22 by virtue of winning the Europe closed qualifier, earning themselves their second tier-one appearance of the season after also being invited to BLAST Bounty Season 2.

The Ukrainian side have been on a tear as of late, racking up a 78% winrate over the last three months as they won Exort The Proving Grounds S1, came second on LAN at EEF European Esports Championship, and won the EPL qualifier without dropping a single series.

TNL's qualifier run featured an impressive list of wins over some of the cream of the crop of tier-two, including fnatic, PARIVISION, and a Nemiga side fresh from their exploits at BLAST.tv Austin Major.

With each series in the qualifier TNL grew in stature, overcoming stiff resistance against Sashi before almost defeating Nemiga in two maps and then sweeping aside PARIVISION confidently in the final.

David "Dawy" Bibik served as TNL's highest-rated player of the qualifier, and he was almost single-handedly responsible for crushing PARIVISION on the opening map of the qualification series, the 17-year-old racking up 122 ADR and a 1.89 rating on Dust2.

Artem "cairne" Mushynskyi and Dmytro "nifee" Tediashvili also produced a string of strong performances, the latter leading the way on the second map of the PARIVISION series, posting 103 ADR to put the Russians to the sword on Mirage.

ESL Pro League Season 22 invites announced*

TNL have rocketed up the VRS and HLTV rankings over the course of 2025, the current roster beginning their grind outside the top 100 of both rankings in February, to now sit around the top 30.

As a result, the Ukrainian side are in line for a number of tier-one invites in the near future, having already secured a BLAST Bounty Season 2 berth as a result of their impressive efforts this year.

TNL were sub-200 in VRS in March and are now top 30 and going to multiple tier 1 events. You love to see it.

The secret is they never actually have clips, they are just mad bettors/fans who think every team in the circuit are cheating. TNL have beat legit teams on LAN and played online from a bootcamp, they're legit.

Congratulations to TNL. What a cursed bracket that was and to only have a single winner come out of that is horrendous. Hopefully we get to see what they are made of at EPL, depending on their seeding.
