FlyQuest send B8 home after double OT thriller
jks has his first win as a FlyQuest player.

FlyQuest have defeated B8 2-1 for their first win since adding Justin "jks" Savage in place of Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas.
The extra firepower FlyQuest now possess with jks was on full display in a chaotic, highlight-filled affair that went to double overtime on the decider.
But FlyQuest can breathe a deep sigh of relief after emerging alive, in spite of giving up an unforgivable 3v1 advantage in round 24 of the decider of Inferno.
Declan "Vexite" Portelli soon provided his own impossible 1v2 when it was FlyQuest staring down the barrel, before new signing jks had his own moment in the sun with a quad-kill hold on A.
"I've probably already lost 5 years of my life playing in this team," jks said to Tres "stunna" Saranthus post-match. "That 3v1 was something else. But it's good that we won. We made so many mistakes, but we only had two weeks of practice.
"Even if we fucked up those rounds, nobody stopped believing. That's a super good trait for a new team to have."
The series started well for B8 with an 8-4 lead on Dust2, but FlyQuest — off the back off a 132 ADR half from jks — turned that around with nine CT rounds of their own to convert their map pick.
Anti-force buys were mentioned by jks after the FURIA match yesterday, and that was a problem today too.
But the best drama was saved for Inferno, where the two teams competed for who had the worst allergy to converting post-plants on A.
FlyQuest were only in a position to fumble their match point because of some hefty heroics from Corey "nettik" Browne in Banana, as they turned a 4-8 scoreline into a 12-9 lead.
In overtime, however, two Vexite defuses on A at 13 and 14-15 broke B8 as double overtime went against the Ukrainians.
The Aussie core now awaits the result of FaZe versus Liquid to see which of jks' former teammates he will fight for elimination.

Who said you couldn't retake A on Inferno?
The match was, eventually, defined by these two moments of madness from Dmytro "esenthial" Tsvir and Vexite. Both were man-up situations on the notoriously difficult A site of Inferno with teams just needing to convert to eliminate their opponent.
But inexplicably, neither team managed to push their advantage over the line. FlyQuest have the excuse of hectic communication and a new teammates, but there is no such excuse for B8 — who have been together for six months and are yet to show much mental strength on LAN.
The mysterious absence of coach Ivan "maddened" Iordanidi is also yet to be explained by B8.
