StarLadder reveal invites for StarSeries Budapest 2025 Europe Qualifier

Half of the eight-team event's spots will come from this qualifier.

Snappi's men are the highest-ranked side in attendance in the closed qualifier

StarLadder has announced the sixteen sides invited to the Europe Closed Qualifier for StarSeries Budapest 2025, an eight-team event set to run from September 18-21.

Ninjas in Pyjamas enter the closed qualifier as the sole team in the top 20 of the VRS in attendance. Marco "⁠Snappi⁠" Pfeiffer's troops will be looking to secure one of the four spots up for grabs after a disappointing outing at BLAST Bounty Season 2, where the European side was eliminated immediately at the hands of paiN.

Another notable squad participating in the qualifier is ECSTATIC, who will be looking for their second LAN qualification in August after recently winning RES Showdown 2: BLAST Premier Rising Event, which earned them a spot at BLAST Open London 2025.

The closed qualifier, set to run from Aug 13-17, will feature a classic GSL best-of-three group stage with four groups, before moving into a single-elimination play-in to determine which of the four participants will earn a spot in the main event.
