The Pole has departed G2 after a month on the bench.

G2 announced they have parted ways with Janusz "⁠Snax⁠" Pogorzelski, who enters free agency following a month on the bench.

The Polish IGL joined the organization in July 2024 in place of Rasmus "⁠HooXi⁠" Nielsen and notably won the BLAST Premier Fall and World Finals with the team, as well as reached the final of PGL Bucharest and the Esports World Cup.

G2 also got to the semi-final of the Shanghai Major under the Pole's leadership, where Snax had his highest-rated event in a G2 jersey.

Following the departures of Nikola "⁠NiKo⁠" Kovač and later Ilya "⁠m0NESY⁠" Osipov to Falcons, however, results dried up for the squad. That meant Snax received his marching orders ahead of G2's summer rebuild, with Nemanja "⁠huNter-⁠" Kovač taking over IGL duties.

Maybe it is that, but snax is younger and as we saw can make good mechanically players shine the most, not to mention is he better fragger than karrigan as well as he would have good connection with neo

Players like NiKo and m0nesy are going to shine regardless, on the same sense it's impossible to defend whatever Karrigan and co are doing. FaZe need a complete revamp bar a couple and it's hard to want to actually start with Snax even though there is an IGL shortage.

With kyxsan niko and m0nesy arent as good, and for a reason. Maybe whole revamp around snax would be good for faze player who were lead the same way for 3 years now (2 of which were without a major success)

Given the Fact that A) Hunter and Niko were running CT and B) Niko wanted to run T without having the "Pressure" or running T (aka not take the heat when games went to shit). AFAIK the only instance when NiKo was actually calling on TT was their match vs EF in Rio - otherwise he respected Snax's calls even though he said they were often "crazy" (his words, but probably with a wink). I don't really believe NiKo would be a good caller and I don't understand why people are pushing this narrative, this guy needs clear head to click heads and that's when he's most valuable for the team - so far the closest he was to that state was under Snax.

ngl the so called "specialists" destroyed his future carrer potential as igl by just making fun of something that works. Regardless of the fact that some of his calls were questionable, the stats were behind him. One of the highest T side win round percentage in all of tier1. G2 before shanghai was in playoffs every single time except for iem rio and in those playoffs they usually were stopped only by navi.

snax improved a lot as IGL, his style is difficult to predict by other teams. In g2 he had a lot of changes/leaves/standins and instability. Also he had problems with communication and team managment, but also he is super experienced and could be good addition to BCgame or maybe some tier 2/3 as igl/lurker.
