FURIA's 20-year-old sensation has his career-first medal.

Danil "⁠molodoy⁠" Golubenko has earned his first-ever HLTV x 1XBET Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at FISSURE Playground 2.

The Kazakh sniper has been a revelation since joining FURIA from AMKAL in April, taking to tier one like a duck to water.

He took his first EVP at IEM Cologne, and now has an even more prestigous award after leading FURIA to their maiden Big Event title in the 38th tournament they attended as an organization.

It was a close MVP race, with four players (molodoy, Kaike "⁠KSCERATO⁠" Cerato, Azbayar "⁠Senzu⁠" Munkhbold, and Ayush "⁠mzinho⁠" Batbold) split by just 0.02 rating.

But molodoy made it his by leading in playoffs (1.22 rating) and the grand final, as well as versus top 10 teams out of those candidates.

He was also FURIA's leader in round wins (1.06 KPRW) and Swing (+2.70%) with a 21.3% multi-kill rate to boot.

In a busy battle for Rookie of the Year, there is no question who leads with just over three months to go until 2025's award show in the very city molodoy has claimed this debut MVP.
