HEROIC and fnatic move into CAC playoffs
fnatic have broken into the top 20 of the VRS after defeating TYLOO, who now face FaZe in an elimination match.

fnatic have overcome the furore around their "six-man roster" by qualifying for CS Asia Championships playoffs.
A 2-0 win over TYLOO was fnatic's sixth match win in a row, after they won Fragadelphia Blocktober to qualify for the Major, and that form has pushed them as high as 17th on the live VRS ranking.

Despite all the noise around who will play for fnatic at the Major, star players Benjamin "blameF" Bremer and Dmytro "jambo" Semera know they are safe and are playing with the confidence that provides.
The Ukrainian AWPer, a top-five prospect of last season, was the man who turned Train around with a double entry and 1v3 in the same round with fnatic 12-9 down.
From there they did not look back, and even managed to take TYLOO down on their home map of Inferno after 113 ADR courtesy of blameF.
They will now move on to the upper bracket final against HEROIC, who took down FUT in a 2-0 win of their own thanks to a top-frag performance from stand-in Olek "hades" Miskiewicz.

FaZe and paiN live to fight another day
In the lower bracket matches that kicked off the day, FaZe started to fight off the post-EPL jetlag that caught them out against FUT on day one and defeated B8 in a three-map affair.
Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken has a 1.24 rating in FaZe since re-joining last month, and was the star man in the first two maps of the 05:00 series before a team performance on the Ancient decider.
paiN then eliminated Fluxo in a regional affair, and Rodrigo "biguzera" Bittencourt put on a confident face in an interview with HLTV: "I think we can win any tournament that we can play; we just have to focus, play the best CS that we can, and I'm pretty sure that we can beat any team."

TYLOO face FaZe to keep CAC hopes alive
After struggling since they won FPG1, TYLOO need a good result at CAC to be able to go into the Major with any semblance of confidence.

But struggling to a 22-20 win over Fluxo and a loss to fnatic, where they could not recover mentally from the jambo clutch, was another sign that the team is not quite there yet.
An elimination series against FaZe is a chance, if a difficult one, to oust those demons.
