Aurora return to Bucharest, where they competed at another PGL event in April

Teams and format

Sixteen teams will travel to Romania to compete at PGL Masters Bucharest from October 26 to November 1. The tournament will feature a Swiss best-of-three group stage followed by a single-elimination best-of-three playoff bracket, with a third-place decider and a best-of-five grand final.

Schedule

The Swiss group stage will run from opening day, Sunday, October 26, all the way to Thursday, October 30, when the Swiss stage's decider matches will fill the playoff bracket.

Friday will be busy with the quarter-finals and semi-finals all crammed into one day, as the tournament was condensed so as to not clash with IEM Chengdu.

Championship Sunday is therefore Championship Saturday this time around, as the third-place decider and the grand final will take place on November 1.
