PGL Masters Bucharest playoff bracket set

A battle between Aurora and B8 and a domestic derby between paiN and Legacy headline the quarter-finals.

PGL Masters Bucharest is headed to the playoffs after the conclusion of the Swiss group stage, which saw GamerLegion, Legacy, and Aurora win their 2-2 matchups to secure the final spots in the eight-team, single-elimination bracket.

HEROIC and paiN, the two 3-0 teams, will start their playoff runs from opposite sides of the bracket with matches against GamerLegion and Legacy, respectively.

Two of the remaining pre-tournament favorites, Liquid and Aurora, are also on opposite sides of the bracket, with the Turks barely limping into playoffs over a Nicolai "⁠device⁠" Reedtz-less Astralis and set to take on a B8 on the rise after leadership changed hands from Andrii "⁠npl⁠" Kukharskyi to Alexey "⁠alex666⁠" Yarmoshchuk.

Liquid and SAW will lock horns for only the second time in history, with the organizations' only previous matchup dating back to March 2024 in BLAST Premier Spring Showdown online.

Due to the shortened playoff schedule, all four quarter-finals and both semi-finals will be played on Friday, followed by the third-place decider and best-of-five grand final on Saturday.

Aurora is the highest-ranked of the 3-2 teams, so they escape from a 3-0 and face a 3-1 team Heroic is the highest-ranked of the 3-0 teams and faces the lowest-ranked of the 3-2 teams, which is GL Pain is the lowest-ranked of the 3-0 teams and faces the 2nd highest-ranked of the 3-2 teams, which is Legacy It's all about seeding I hope this helped

Nah it works a bit different Pain had higher bucholz than Heroic Legacy had same Bucholz as GL but lower seed
