x6tence replace GuMmY with milicua

x6tence have announced the departure of Borja "GuMmY" González, bringing back Aitor "milicua" Fernández.

The Spanish team recently attended the DreamHack MSI Championship at DreamHack Summer, where they crashed in the group stage, failing to win a match.

Last night the team announced the release of Borja "GuMmY" González, according to the team's statement due to disciplinary reasons. Taking over for González is Aitor "milicua" Fernández, who played for x6tence in 2005-2006, and retired in 2007.

GuMmY parts with x6tence

x6tence now have:

Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent
Adrián "sioK" Rodríguez
Carlos "xhiroz" Puente
Jose "YuRk0" Antón Aspas
Aitor "milicua" Fernández

Can Fernández make a chance in x6tence after four years absence from the game? The team have qualified for the Spanish EPS Finals, which should be the next occasion to see them in action.

milicua was good, but he didn't play since 2007 and the style changed a lot - and also the skills are now much better. he's going to have lots of difficulties... and i'm not sure how it's going to effect on x6tence. i feel sorry for GuMmY.. he was great :|

It's way to destroy your good name... for example look at Schumacher, he is famous and he back... for what? The same with snajdan people are know him as prO, he will be losing because of long absence... pointless.

Some people say that milicua has been playing CS since a year or so, he was supposed to join TalikE's team, p-play. Anyway, x6tence wanted to changed their structure. Milicua is not a madfragger, nor entry fragger or even AWPer. He is a teamplayer, and that's something you don't lose with the time. He read very well his opponents, and I think (don't remember so well) he also made some playbooks videos about Na`Vi, fnatic... so he knows what have changed in these years.

I don't think this's a smart move by x6tence. They should have picked someone from the scene who's still active. Nevertheless, we don't know how good he is, only the x6tence guys know. I wish them good luck.

big mistake ... mostly gummy was the top fragger. When i had him in dreamteam, he made me money vs top teams like fnatic sk etc. too

wtf... rate 25000 cl_cmdrate 101 cl_updaterate 101 fps_max 101 ex_interp 0.01 and you're pretty much ready to go... He could've configured it while playing. But well, I understand if he didn't have enough time to set up launch options and so on - things done out of the game.

Without voice, maybe without mousefix, etc, etc... There are a lot of things you can change when you setup your game, not just the netcode commands.

Didn't know about the voice program.. But playing with acceleration should be possible. If you're good enough, you should be able to adapt to the game rather playing with og without acceleration. It will change your playstyle.. But still. I'm normally playing with noforce cmds, but I can even play with acceleration and I'm not even pro :)

Gummy is sick, but obviously it was something to do with his attitude/relationship with the team. He might prove us wrong, but if he retired in 2007, he's probably terrible now and won't catch up for a looong time.

They were together just for a little time. MusambaN1 went inactive, and r1bera replaced him. Then, milicua retired and MusambaN1 returned from his inactivity, and few months after, MusambaN1 left them and made a new team, redCode.

Honestly I think this will go wrong, 1st milicua after so long will have many difficults to get back into the game, and on the other hand, GuMmY was great, and on Dreamhack he seemed quite good to me. Anyway good luck x6!

Get_Right, for example, is not an example of the best team-mate; but you can get used to him, know how to deal with him and take the best of him wich is in-game. I think X6 could do the same, but here in Spain this kind of players have too much ego. I also agree that FlipiN should be in the line-up, but GuMmy is their fragger: milicua? 'Didn't see him recently but his game is based on teamplay tough...

I think that change was neccesary, if not they wouldn´t have kicked him :S Maybe x6tence is looking for stability on spanish top1, and milicua is a good choice. Hoping to see him on his pro lvl. Also r1bera has started to playing again in perpetual play, hope to see them soon againts each other :D
