JYP replace aimaNNN with clickzai

The top Malaysian roster, JYP Gaming has replaced Aiman "aimaNNN" Azham with former Orange player, Muhammad-Idzni "clickzai" Bin Rosdi.

Formerly known as MVP.Karnal and Fire Dragoon in the past, the Malaysian squad has announced on Facebook the departure of long-time comrade, Aiman "⁠aimaNNN⁠" Azham due to studying commitments. His leftover spot will be taken over by Idzni "⁠Click-⁠" Rosdi from Orange, Malaysia's second best team.

During 2016, the JYP core members competed in several international tournaments including qualifying for two of Valve's Asia Minors for MLG Columbus and ELEAGUE Major. Their most notable achievements involves a 4th place finish at WESG Asia-Pacific Regional Finals and a 5th-6th placement at WCA World Finals.

aimaNNN steps down from active lineup

This move takes place after the team's disappointing performance at the $1.5 million event last month at WESG World Finals, which the former EnVyUs lineup won.

In a statement given to HLTV.org by the team captain, Alex "⁠xevR⁠" Pereira:

"Aiman has been a very important part of our team since the beginning as he was the person that formed the core of the lineup. He led the team to many victories, but I guess all good things come to an end. His decision to stop competing comes, as he is undergoing his final year of studies and soon after that his internship, thus would not have much time to commit to the team."

"We played a few scrims with clickzai and we feel that he would be a good fit to the team. He has been performing really well playing under the Orange banner and his hunger to win will definitely drive the team to compete at a higher level."

"As of now, we are trying to reinvent ourselves, trying out new stuff; what works and what doesn't. We have lost a very important part of the team but I'm sure with time we will come back stronger."

Wow, unexpected. If you follow the Asian scene at all, this is a bit of a crazy move. Aiman was their star player, but I hope he does well in his studies. Education > all

Kaze's quite a power player as well though on to OP, yeah, it's best to have some education to fall back on when/if you lose passion for CSGO. Hopefully he does well

i guess I should've said he was an integral part of the team, not their star player. It's hard to imagine this team without Aiman. He was the glue that held the team together. Always making lots of impact kills and clutches.
