Teams for ESEA S27 MDL announced

ESEA has revealed the team list for the European, North American, and Australian divisions of the Mountain Dew League.

In the North American division, there is still one spot up for grabs as the holder of the Pro League move-down place, which belonged to Immortals, remains undetermined.

In Europe, two spots have not yet been determined after the Pro League relegation stage was postponed as GODSENT could not travel to New York due to a winter storm.

Virtus.pro will once again try to secure promotion to the Pro League via the MDL

Virtus.pro are the highest-ranked team in the world who will be competing in ESEA MDL Europe, followed by Gambit. The North American division is headlined by Rise Nation, who are ranked 34th in the world.

Then where is Optic? I dont think they give away NA EPL spot if they are not getting EU MDL spot in return. I dont see Optic getting EU EPL spot directly considering even VP is in MDL.

Well if "one" of the players has visa issues then they will most likely have to kick that member or he has to play from another country...

Season 27 does not end with a EPL relegation. 100Ts gonna join for season 28 to fight for a relegation spot. Edit: Same goes for optic. They gonna join MDL in Season 28, when it you actually can rank up to EPL.

Are you sure? Last year they had 4 seasons of MDL and 2 Seasons of EPL and thus only 26 and 24 gave spots for relegation, or? I checked it. You are right. Season 27 will give relegationspots for EPL.

About optic - i think they can join max main without direct invite EDIT: As i see this amount of mix teams in s27 mdl it's possible optic gonna get invite for s28 when someone will split up

Usually new formed "top teams" get direct invites to MDL and do not need to grind Main. Have they changed that too? I mean teams like GX also got directly invited to MDL season 26 and did not have to grind main.

Invites depends on ESEA, then VP got direct invite to premier after skipping a season too.

It says that Ghost Academy is ranked 54th in the world, but where can we check the full World Ranking? Beyond the usual top 30 that we are used to here? Is there a way to see beyond the 30th position or is it for internal use of HLTV only?
