FURIA grabbed a comfortable 3-0 victory (Nuke 16-6, Inferno 16-3) against eUnited in the grand final of the North American closed qualifier, securing their place at DreamHack Masters Dallas.

The qualifier was played over the course of the last three days, in a double-elimination, best-of-three format, which surprisingly saw Ghost eliminated early as they couldn't overcome Denial and Envy in the first two rounds of the tournament.

Singularity left the competition in the same stage and Complexity and Luminosity quickly followed, while eUnited and FURIA made it to the upper bracket final. There, the Brazilian side quickly dispatched of their opponents in two maps on the back of strong first halves, leaving Edgar "⁠MarKE⁠" Maldonado & co. to fight in the consolidation final.

FURIA dominated the North American qualifier to lock down a spot in Dallas

The next-to-last stage saw Denial put up a good fight against eUnited, reaching double digits on both Cache and Mirage, but they ultimately couldn't close out either, which meant Victor "⁠food⁠" Wong's team would rematch FURIA in the grand final.

However, Andrei "⁠arT⁠" Piovezan's side put up an even more convincing showing to deny eUnited their revenge, winning Nuke 16-6 and Inferno 16-3 to secure a place at the Dallas event.

Furia won the upper bracket final against EUnited, so as the north-americans lose a game they were forced to play the lower bracket final against the winner of the match of the UB semifinals losers (the lower bracket[LB] semifinals). Then, I think it was denial (don't remember), loss against EUnited and as the LB winners, EUnited faced furia, who has won the UB final(so this is why they started the BO5 with a map advantage). Actually, the Consolidation Final is kind of a BO4 that obligate the LB winner to win, and not even tie. Allot of qualys use this format and I like it pretty much

Boltz and KNG are way better than Ablej and Vini. With the actual line's Furia, LG and INTZ will never achieve something big, but if you put togheter the 4 best players Boltz, Kscerato, KNG and Yuri + the best IGL, which is Art. You have a tier 1 team with this. The only thing that would change is Art not being Main AWP anymore, be he wasn't the main AWP before.
