DreamHack Open Leipzig closed qualifier invites revealed
DreamHack has announced the invited teams to the closed qualifiers in Europe and North America for their Open stop in Leipzig.
The qualification process will provide three slots for the upcoming DreamHack Open event, with two of those going to Europe and one spot going to North America. The closed qualifiers will take place on January 12 in single-elimination, best-of-three playoff brackets.

The Danish duo of HEROIC and MAD Lions will contest against CR4ZY and Heretics in Europe, with the final four slots of the closed qualifer going to four participants that progress through the open qualifier, which will run from January 10-11.

The North American qualifier will see Cloud9 and Complexity, two teams that recently played the IEM Katowice 2020 North America Closed Qualifier upper bracket final where the former beat the latter, join Singularity and eUnited in the bracket, which similarly to that of Europe, will be rounded out by four additional teams from the open qualifier.
The North American closed qualifier will feature the following teams:
DreamHack Open Leipzig will be held at the Leipziger Messe from January 24-26 and will feature eight teams split into two double-elimination groups, which will be followed by a single-elimination playoff bracket. The current participants' list for the $100,000 event is:
