Turkey5 join Sangal

Sangal Esports have announced their return to competitive Counter-Strike with the signing of the team known as Turkey5.

The deal comes as a much-needed boost for the Turkish roster, which was put together at the start of the year with the former Space Soldiers trio of Engin "⁠MAJ3R⁠" Küpeli, Ahmet "⁠paz⁠" Karahoca and Engin "⁠ngiN⁠" Kor as the headliners.

Turkey5 recently took part in the ESEA MDL Season 33 Relegation tournament after coming through the Advanced league. They were unable to secure promotion as they finished in 9th-12th place following defeats to Ambush and Prima.

MAJ3R & co will represent Sangal moving forward

Sangal are no strangers to Counter-Strike, having fielded the team that won last year's ESL Turkey Championship. The organisation, founded in 2017, are hoping to establish themselves internationally after recently undertaking a rebranding and adding new faces to their management team.

"I am incredibly happy to return to Turkey and play for our flag again," team captain MAJ3R said in a statement. "Winning on a regular basis like we used to do is particularly important for me and we are doing our best to get there.

"We are hitting the road together with Sangal proudly having the same aim. May our path be smooth and neat."

MAJ3R's troops recently topped the league table in the ESL Turkey Championship and are now waiting for the tournament organiser to decide what to do with the remainder of the league, which could be held online.

Logicman is sometimes plays like woxic but he has low experience. I mean while I was watching I feel like he is like woxic's alt account. So he is good. His rating is 1.10 btw. Paz was actually good with awp in like vs C9 ace. But SS had no main awper in these days. So paz was awping. He is hybrid player. Also his sprays good as xantares, trust me. He is so succesfull at getting multi kills with one spray when enemy team rushes B. So they have a main awper now. Also in this situation, without xantares and calyx, paz have to get more kills with rifles to carry team. But he is still taking awp with double awp strats
