The 20-year-old appears to have had a change of heart after initially seeing his future elsewhere.

Cloud9 will hold on to Ricky "⁠floppy⁠" Kemery, who will play for the organization's new roster according to a report by DBLTAP. The 20-year-old is understood to have backtracked on his decision to stay with his current teammates and find a new home as he looks set to become the fourth member of the new roster that is being put together by the organisation's general manager, Henry "⁠HenryG⁠" Greer.

floppy will join Alex "⁠ALEX⁠" McMeekin, William "⁠mezii⁠" Merriman and Özgür "⁠woxic⁠" Eker in Cloud9's new team, which will be coached by Aleksandar "⁠kassad⁠" Trifunović. This leaves HenryG with the task of finding only two more players, having decided that the squad will have a six-man lineup.

The 20-year-old has been on Cloud9's books since the North American organization picked up the ATK roster in January, and he has remained one of the team's most impactful players with a 1.13 rating since the beginning of the year.

The report also notes that Cloud9 are still in the process of looking for a new home for Johnny "⁠JT⁠" Theodosiou's charges, who are currently in fourth position in the North American RMR standings but will fall to sixth place in the event of losing floppy.

The reported move would make Cloud9's roster look as follows:

I think it's exactly the opposite, all the encounters I read about this, claim otherwise and I tend to agree. Friendship found in the youth is the strongest and usually lasts into the whole lifetime. And I may have phrased it wrong, it doesn't matter for how much more his salary is gonna rise, even if it's ten times more than he had, it's still irrelevant because no matter how much money you have, you're still poor if you're friendless and no love was found, money doesn't help to find it, quite the opposite. This is a really good signing. Floppy hard carried these bots for like 8 months before Osee finally showed some life. I think that floppy is overrated a lot, I don't see him being a good player, maybe someday he will become good but I don't think it will happen in a short time, for me it's a really bad decision for C9 if they want him to stay, overall I really liked the beggining of this project, building a team around ALEX and mezii was a great idea for me, but then they signed woxic which I really don't like, and now they want to keep floppy, I really think C9 is making some missteps again.
