DreamHack Open March team list finalised
Extra Salt and RBG topped the North American closed qualifier while 9z and Liberty emerged victorious from the South American bracket.
The closed qualifiers for DreamHack Open March have concluded, seeing two teams advance to the main event from each region.
Extra Salt were the first to secure their berth from North America, going undefeated through the upper bracket in their debut tournament with Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado. Meanwhile, RBG were able to redeem themselves after being cast down to the lower bracket by Extra Salt, fighting past Recon 5 in the consolidation final to secure the final spot in the $70,000 event.

The four-team South America closed qualifier bracket saw both of the invited sides prevail, with 9z dropping only one map as they eased through the upper bracket. The second spot went the way of Liberty as they rallied back from an opening round loss, sweeping Paquetá in a rematch to ensure their berth in the main event.
Both tournaments are set to play out from March 10-14, with the North American event notably seeing Liquid make their first appearance in a North American tournament since their elimination from IEM Beijing-Haidian in November.
