The Brazilian side become the latest team to withdraw from the RMR event.

Keyd Stars have announced that they have withdrawn from CBCS Elite Season 1, the first Regional Major Ranking (RMR) tournament in the South American region in 2021, following allegations of a VAC-banned account owned by Kayke "⁠kye⁠" Bertolucci.

The Brazilian organisation stated that it will conduct a 'rigid' internal investigation into those claims and temporarily suspended the player. "Due to the current situation, we have opted to withdraw from the competition as a demonstration of respect for CBCS and Valve," the statement read.

Keyd join Bears and DETONA in withdrawing from CBCS Elite Season 1

Keyd Stars are the third team to withdraw from the South American RMR event, which began on Friday. Bears left the competition on Thursday due to a VAC-banned account allegedly own by Mateus "⁠cidZzZ⁠" Piber Fão, and DETONA pulled out of the tournament on Saturday following claims that Kaue "⁠kauez⁠" Kaschuk had a VAC ban on an old account because of a skin changer tool.

Keyd Stars leave the CBCS tournament with a 1-2 record following a walkover win over Bears - the team they were slated to face in the third round - and losses to Paquetá and Bravos. There are now only 13 teams left in the RMR competition, in which Sharks and Bravos were the first two sides to seal passage to the playoffs.

Because brazil is poor so most mfs cant pay private cheats like NA and EU. Thats a why most vac banned players are from countries like Brazil, Rússia/cis and india. Another argument to support my claim, is when NA or EU cheaters get banned, most of then receive faceit/esea ban, not vac, since their cheat is private and too secure to be caught by VAC

We are talking about pro scene. You have many argentinian teams and players in brazilian teams who werent accused of cheating*. What i mean, is that idk what's the problem the brazilian scene has when it comes to cheating, there's no reason to cheat in an event which will make you reach the Major play-offs.

It's not defending the cheaters, but making it clear that Valve's policy is basically hypocritical since the game's Anti-Cheat does not affect equally all players and regions, because richer regions can buy expensive non-detectible anti-cheats. ESIC founding nothing doesn't prove he wasn't cheating, only proves that they found nothing. Of course, since they found nothing, he wasn't punished in any way. I believe he was cheating, yes. Not only against mibr, there are "weird coincidental" clips from him against NA teams as well. Lots of them. It's about the way he behaves ingame and his mechanics. I don't hate him. I don't want him to die, I didn't tweet shit about him or anything like that, but I do believe he was cheating. The fact that he wasn't punished only proves they found nothing with their investigation, not that he was clean. Too little too late. Already cost a lot of players. The only reason they’ve talked about updating it now is likely valve knowing a bunch of players were about to be taken out of the tournament. A lot of these players probably didn’t even consider competing until recently. As an example, I considered taking Csgo seriously in 2018 when I got into the more high level play, but stopped after hearing about jamppi since I have a vac ban from 2016. Think about it, some of these players are 17, they could have tried cheats within 2 weeks of getting the game like I did, and now can’t play until they’re 20

I have a VAC ban from 2010, when I was going to university and decided to stop playing CS 1.6 at all. Cheated on random chilean servers and deleted the game for good. In 2017 I started playing CSGO and realized I had this ban. At least I don't intend to become pro. But who knows, I'm moving to Canada, let's see how I perform in NA ahhahaha

It cheats Valve's main source of income. There is no gameplay advantage at all. Still, no point in this without punishment for five years (for life in any career) without further investigation IMO. I can't speak for CS:GO, but in my experience with 1.6 Brazilian players it wasn't uncommon for them to cheat, especially if they were losing. It was easily a 5 to 1 ratio compared to NA players. I'm glad Valve updated the VAC rules, because I figure people can learn from their mistakes, but it's not a shock 2 of the accused are teenagers.
