MOUZ promote xertioN to main roster; Bymas out

The squad is now three-fifths the initial MOUZ NXT roster.

MOUZ have announced a roster change, replacing 19-year-old Aurimas "⁠Bymas⁠" Pipiras with 18-year-old academy player Dorian "⁠xertioN⁠" Berman. The young Israeli has also extended his contract with the organization and will soon attend a pre-ESL Pro League bootcamp with the squad.

xertioN won four academy league seasons with MOUZ NXT, with their streak ending in the fifth season after a group stage exit. He will now take on a bigger challenge, joining former teammates Jon "⁠JDC⁠" de Castro and Ádám "⁠torzsi⁠" Torzsás in the main squad.

xertioN has joined the big leagues

Averaging a 1.13 career rating, xertioN has turned some heads since his addition to MOUZ's academy squad, even earning himself three Bold Prediction picks as Mathieu "⁠ZywOo⁠" Herbaut, Helvijs "⁠broky⁠" Saukants, and Russel "⁠Twistzz⁠" Van Dulken named him as a future breakout player. He has limited experience facing the best teams in the world, though, and his rating drops to a 1.00 for the 18 maps he played against top 20 ranked teams.

Why mousesports decided to jump on the academy train

"I'm so excited to share with you all the next step in my career, I will from now on be playing on the MOUZ main team," xertioN said on Twitter. "It's been a long-time goal of mine since joining the NXT project and I will give my absolute best to help my awesome new teammates and MOUZ reach new heights and goals!"

To make space for the newcomer, Bymas was removed from MOUZ's active lineup, with his exact status or future plans not disclosed in the announcement.

The team's next scheduled outing is the aforementioned ESL Pro League Season 16, with their group kicking of on September 14.

Cant go off HLTV rating my guy. They are not the 5th best team in the world. # 7 8 9 11 12 13 14 15 teams would beat mouz majority of the time. Imagine thinking that is "learning strats for 6 months" that makes a team good or bad. If a team is going to be good , it can be seen from the start even with the most primitive tactics, any top tier team that won tourneys ,since they make the roster change , they instantly get 3x better , GUESS WHAT? its not the tactics that changed, its the player(problem) got kicked for a better one with BETTER FUNDAMENTS and DOESN´T DO MANY MISTAKES THAT COST ROUNDS anymore , so the team gets INSTANTLY BETTER, The tactics are then in the next months to increase the potencial of a good enought roster who can win matchs even with the most primitive tactics. well, you wrote all of that, but when they promoted JDC literally nothing happened, getting more chemistry together got them some kind of results, which were not a tragedy anymore, now they will just break whatever small momentum and any chemistry they had built. you think theyll have incredible strats with xertion now? nah. you think xertion wont makes mistakes in tier 1? nah. Mouz is such blind org that they will replace every single player instead of one that they should in The First place. Sycrone should've just made all of the 3 changes at once -acoR +torszi, -NBK +JDC and -Bymas +xertioN. He's clearly obsessed with the players that he coached before joining the main team. Would've made everyone feel less confused if it all would have happened at once. The next MOUZ roster move is going to happen after the major it's going to be -dexter +siuhy. calling it now. Next move after that is going to happen in 3-4 months and it is bringing Jimpphat into the main team when his Major ban is not active anymore.
