Viktor "⁠sdy⁠" Orudzhev will also feature in the final of the ~$50,000 event.

The reigning No. 1 player in the world Oleksandr "⁠s1mple⁠" Kostyliev will reunite with ex-NAVI teammate Ioann "⁠Edward⁠" Sukhariev for the final of the Kinguin Legends 2022 tournament. Current Natus Vincere teammate sdy will also be making an appearance.

The changes have been made because Edward's Team, who have had a flawless run in the playoffs thus far, are unable to play with Sergiy "⁠DemQQ⁠" Demchenko and Yevhen "⁠j3kie⁠" Serhachov due to those two players needing to play in official matches for Monte and Iron Branch respectively.

The Ukranian superstar will lend Edward his talents

Undoubtedly this will make Edward's Team the comfortable favourites in the final, where they take on Maikelele's Team. These two squads have had opposite journeys in the Kinguin Legends tournament, with Edward and co. needing to make a run all the way through the gauntlet-style playoff bracket after finishing group play in fourth place. Mikail "⁠Maikelele⁠" Bill and his team, by contrast, were seeded directly to the final after topping the group stage.

Elsewhere in the event, HeatoN's Team failed to win a map and finished the event in dead last, just behind pashaBiceps' Team whose only map win came against Emil "⁠HeatoN⁠" Christensen's side.

kennyS' Team team finished in fourth place after falling to Edward's Team in the first round of the playoffs, whilst NEO's Team secured third after being bested by Edward’s squad in the second round of playoffs.

The final will take place September 18 at 15:00 , and can be viewed on the Kinguin Twitch channel.
