sAw joins Heroic
The highly-regarded former ENCE coach has found a new home in HEROIC.

Eetu "sAw" Saha has joined HEROIC to replace Richard "Xizt" Landström as their new Counter-Strike head coach, the organization has announced.
The Finn makes the move from ENCE, where he formed a highly-regarded duo with Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer from 2021-2023 and headed multiple successful rebuilds, which helped them maintain a place among Counter-Strike's elite for most of that time.

HEROIC are now in desperate need of that expertise in rebuilding rosters after their disastrous losses of Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "jabbi" Nygaard to Astralis and Casper "cadiaN" Møller to Liquid.
It remains to be seen what else the future holds for HEROIC, who currently only have Rasmus "sjuush" Beck and René "TeSeS" Madsen tied down to long-term contracts.
They have been competing at the final tournaments of 2023 with Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen and Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss, as well as with Jason "salazar" Salazar at the BLAST Premier World Final, but it's unclear whether any of them could remain on the team moving forward after they were only announced as temporary stand-ins.
sAw's announcement in part confirms a Dust2.dk report that linked HEROIC with interest in the coach as well as ENCE's trio, Álvaro "SunPayus" García, Pavle "Maden" Bošković, and Guy "NertZ" Iluz. HLTV however understands that at least the former two will not be a part of the rebuild.
