PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR teams, format, schedule, prizes, talent
The final PGL Major Copenhagen RMR will be played in Monterrey, Mexico, and is set to award five Major spots.

Two out of the three PGL Major Copenhagen RMRs have concluded with 17 teams from the two European groups joined by The MongolZ and Lynn Vision from the Asia RMR. The final of the three qualification events will be contested from March 1-4 in Mexico between 16 Americas teams, who will fight for the last five Major spots on offer.
RMR events are known to be full of heartbreak and elation, and this one should be no different. The favorites, namely Liquid, Complexity, and FURIA, come into the event in shaky form, with several underdogs licking their lips at the prospect of taking advantage of the top dogs looking far from their best.
Participating teams and format
Sixteen squads will compete in a traditional Valve Swiss system, with best-of-one games until progression or elimination. Because there are five, not eight, spots on offer, fewer matches need to be played and two losses are enough for elimination. A team progresses with a 3-0 or 3-1 record.
The Americas RMR features four top 30 teams in the HLTV.org rankings. Complexity and FURIA headline the team list, with the new-look Liquid — seeded 15th due to Valve's ranking from late 2023 being used — also among the top dogs at the event. MIBR are the final top 30 team in attendance, with the Brazilians looking to qualify for the organization's fifth Major.
M80 come into the event without Marcus "maNkz" Kjeldsen, who is missing out due to personal reasons and will be replaced by coach Rory "dephh" Jackson. Among other dark horses are South American trio Imperial, BESTIA, and paiN, while Nouns and Wildcard will be looking to keep up their good form in recent times and spring a surprise.
NRG are also in attendance after they got an invite to replace Rocket, who withdrew from the competition following one of their players being banned for cheating on FACEIT and admitting to breaking a coaching rule during the qualifiers.

Elevate and BOSS complete the North American portion of the attendees, with RED Canids, Marcelo "coldzera" David's Legacy OCE, and ODDIK coming into the event as the lowest-ranked teams from South America.

Prizes
The prizes for the event are five Major spots. Eleven teams will miss out after recording two losses, while five teams will progress to the Major after they notch their third win of the tournament and lock in their share of the lucrative sticker sales.
The highest-ranked of the five teams as per Valve's ranking following the conclusion of the Americas RMR — not the highest-placed — will be invited straight to the Elimination Stage of the PGL Major while the rest will start from the Opening Stage.
